Soleful Bliss Art & Music and Tech (SBAMT) Series is a multifaceted platform that aims to connect and socially gather people from all walks of life to celebrate the dynamics of social justice within the realms of art, music and technology in a global perspective. These series have been ongoing for seven years generating synergies and creating awareness to support local independent artists as a resource by providing open opportunities within the arts sector in Greater Boston. This year we’re honoring the late American singer, songwriter, pianist, music legend, composer, arranger, and activist in the civil rights movement Nina Simone.
Saturday, September 15 at 5 PM, join us for refreshments, special performances from Boston-based artists and a tribute to our soul-tress “Nina Simone.” Located on the 3rd floor ballroom, Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street.
We will end the night with the sounds of meditation filling the room of r&b, jazz, and soul curated by DJ Make it Do What It Do for the members of the community to remember the Queen of Soul.
This event is ticketed and open to the public. It will support the artists in the community of Boston. Free for ages under 16; Students/Seniors - $15; General Admission - $20; At the door - $25.
Hosted by AfroDesiaCity and Hibernian Hall.
